Hold the door open on Mother's Day

As simple as it may sounds, but with our busy life, we tend to forget those little details. Holding the door open to someone is a difficult task nowadays, because everyone is in a hurry.

So, next time you are walking somewhere, whether you're at school, the grocery store, or at work, keep eye for your surrounding and pay attention if there is a pregnant woman or a mother with a stroller struggling to open the door and push the stroller at the same time; don't just pass her by. Stop, hold the door open for her, make eye contact.

The woman will certainly appreciate your good manners. Because how you treat others say a lot about you as a person. These strangers don't know you, but when you do such an act of kindness, in seconds, they will know who you are. Besides, everyone appreciate a kindness and polite act like holding the door open especially when it is a pregnant woman or a mother with children. This simple act will certainly brighten their day or may even turn around a bad mood.

“I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.”

Don't forget to teach this one to your children. Don't let it fade away. Let's keep this manner alive for generations to come.

This article is Day 6 of celebrating Mother's Day with acts of kindness.
