Another violence against women story coming from Lebanon.
Mohammad Al-Nhaily used the crockpot to strike his wife Manal Al-Assi after a fight that turned violent. That led to the death of Manal at Beirut Hospital due to severe injuries. Note that all this happened in front of his two daughters.
As a Community Organization, we would like to ask you first to help the police identify the place of the husband. And below is his picture
If you saw him, please call 112 or 1717.
Secondly, we would like to ask people to help the two daughters. If you know the family, if you knew Manal, if you live in their neighborhood, don't hesitate to help.
You can help in different ways.. Just show support and sympathy, share this article with your friends, maybe cook them warm meals, try to help the kids get over this situation, or even gather donations to help the grandparents take care of the kids.
“Community is a sign that love is possible in a materialistic world where people so often either ignore or fight each other. It is a sign that we don't need a lot of money to be happy--in fact, the opposite.”
― Jean Vanier, Community And Growth
And thanks to everyone who is helping. Deep condolences to the family of Manal. May God give you patience and strength to overcome this sad news.
